“Shooting live music is something few photographers do really well. You can’t teach it, you can’t learn it, you just do it. It’'s one part photography, one part love of music, one part a love of theatre and theatrical lighting, one part hero worship, one part timing and 95 parts instinct.”
Behind me are a thousand screaming bodies flailing around in joy. In front of me is the greatest show on earth.
Nothing beats it. The way the bass slams my chest, the guitars swoon through the air, the drums move my feet, and the melody pierces my heart.
Everyday I think of how lucky I am to be able to combine photography and music.
